The cashmere you see in front of you is from goats roaming the high plains around Mount Everest.
Here, at the top of the mountains in Nepal, harsh weather conditions and sometimes extreme temperatures prevail. The climate results in cashmere as a material that is excellent for both the cold of winter and the heat of summer.
It takes many years for a goat to gather enough wool for a scarf. The wool is collected, combed and washed carefully, to then become one of the world's softest materials of the absolute highest quality.
Appreciate what the goat has done for you all these years and enjoy your cashmere to the fullest.
